At the start of every month, Hellogiggles launches a new tarot reading article for your astrological enjoyment with the cosmic forecast for the upcoming weeks. Our design team brought a modern day twist of the classic deck inspired by women in everyday situations.

Major Arcana

A Tarot deck is made up of 78 cards. The first 21 cards of the deck fall under the Major Arcana heading starting with 0 - The Fool and his journey all the way to 21 - The World card, signifying the completion of all the journey and lessons learned. The Minor Arcana are split into the following suits with each corresponding element:

Suit of Cups - Water Element
Suit of Swords - Air Element
Suit of Wands - Fire Element
Suit of Pentacles - Earth Element

In some instances, a card will appear upside down in a reading. This position changes the meaning of the card and can have a positive or negative outcome depending on the situation and influences of surrounding cards.
